St Charles Women Legislation Tasked By Local Group
Miss Mary Lichliner guest speaker at the January meeting of the St Charles Business and Savings Association as part of the Governors Commission on the Status of Women. The commission formed four committees to study education, counselors, adult schools, and women’s labor laws while planning a December conference and suggesting possible state legislation and programs for mature women.
