The St Charles Jaycees start a community service project to recognize outstanding paid public servants. Nominations are invited by committee chair Tom Rocco. winner chosen by local citizens panel will receive a plaque and gift at a special dinner. Call 723-7020 for details.
A story hour for school age children will be held at St Charles County Library Headquarters on Saturday January 23 at 10 30 a.m. The program is free and no registration is necessary.
The Francis Howell School District board of education will meet at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Administration Building on the junior-senior high campus to discuss the preliminary budget for the 1971-72 school year beginning July 1. Also on the agenda are air conditioning Becky-David School and Central Elementary projects, additional Daniel Boone classrooms, a bond issue planned for February, and the board's regular meeting date on the 15th.
Wentzville High School announces dress code revisions approved by Student Council and Faculty Advisory Committee. Girls may wear coordinating pants suits or dress slacks with hip length tops. jeans, top tight pants, T shirts, sweatshirts and exhibitionism attire are banned. Boys prohibited from exhibitionism including muscle shirts. All students must wear shoes and socks. appearance should not disturb class or activities. For athletics, dress and hair must meet coach standards.
