Survey work starts on Missouri River Levee Unit L-15 from St. Charles to Port de Sioux with Harrison W. Stanley leading a three man team from the Kansas City District Corps of Engineers. They will map control points with aerial photos contracted from Mark Hurd, aiding design for future levees and drainage. Installation was by Mrs Marsh with St Louis Department officers Ada Williams Anna McVey Julia Hoelscher Goldie Walker Pearl Ross en Minnie Otten. A gift was given to retiring president Ann Algermissen and to installing officer Cleo Marsh.
