Escape to Nature at Busch Wildlife Refuge in Weldon Spring
A Midwest landscape at the August A. Busch Wildlife Refuge in Weldon Spring features dawn over a lake and meadow, a raccoon foraging in a creek, a whip-poor-will, and a blue jay. The 7,000 acre refuge near St Charles was bought by the Missouri Department of Conservation in 1947, once a World War II munitions site, now a memorial space.
