YMCA Summer Camps Open Registration in St Charles Area
The St Charles County Extension of the YMCA of Metropolitan St Louis will begin registrations for three summer co ed camping programs this Friday February 19. The annual YMCA Day Camp Day Camp Hobbit runs seven weekly sessions from June 21 to August 6 at McNair Park Droste Road St Charles with daily hours 9 am to 4 pm and bus service to St Charles Harvester St Peters and O Fallon. The LLT program for ages 14 16 runs July 5 16 with a two week training and interview requirement. Fees are 12 for Y members and 24 for non members with candy mint fundraisers and a five dollar deposit option available. Camp Lakewood at Surinen Lake Clark National Forest near Potosi offers Regular Ranger and Trip programs for ages 9 17 with multiple 12 day periods starting June 21 and a 100 fee plus 15 deposit. Northwoods Canoe Trips offer three Minnesota Canada trips for teens with deposits of 25 and fees ranging 175 190 175. Funds via sales of YMCA candy mints help offset costs. Candy stations start Feb 20 through March 13 with designated candy moms listed in St Charles Harvester St Peters and O Fallon.
