The Francis Howell School District plans four major projects funded by a $1 million bond issue to be placed before voters on February 25. A $50,000 bus maintenance garage will improve support facilities for the district’s fleet of 47 buses.
Francis Howell School District will place a three million dollar bond issue before voters on February 2 to fund repair of existing facilities and four new buildings. Plans include a vocational agriculture building, a first unit of a new high school, a maintenance building for buses on the high school campus, and a learning resource center at Becky-David Elementary on Jungs Station Road, plus various repairs and improvements.
Proposed projects at Central Sekton include an elementary classroom unit at the high school for 800000, a bus maintenance building costing 50000, a learning resource center at 120000, and 30000 in Central repairs. Plans await bidding and approvals with possible summer start and year end completion.
