Investiture Evening For Stownie Troop 145 and Junior Groups
On Wednesday evening November 13 at Wile Harem School Brownie Troop 145 and Junior Girl Scout units held an investiture ceremony. Five Stownies and five Junior Beaus received wings from Brownie level 10 to Junior Scout level. Afterward a social hour with refreshments followed. Lead leaders included Mrs. Howard Biria bachar and Mrs. Reymront Terschtuge. Junior Scout leaders named among others.

Norman Steinhoff Represents Missouri in National Poultry Contest
Norman Steinhoff of Pont Prairie 4-H Club recently returned from Chicago where he competed in the National Poultry Judging Contests. He was selected to represent Missouri on the Missouri State Judging Team after judging in the Helena Le-H Poultry Judging Contest and the Charles County event. The team’s exact scores are unavailable, but they placed roughly sixth or seventh among 14 state teams, and each member received an expense paid trip. Norman has completed four years in 4-H with Weber as a key project mentor and currently owns about 300 laying hens.
