Sheriff Chaplains Provide More Than Ministers in St Charles County
Rev. Earl Worley leads the Cleray-on-Call program with 13 volunteer chaplains serving the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department. Since Jan 1 they respond to emergencies, deliver death notices, provide counseling, and assist families at accident and crime scenes. Tenure averages two calls monthly with members commissioned as Special Deputies and badges.
