CREC Distributes 80000 in Stockholder Rebates at Meeting
Charlee CREC members received rebates totaling over 80000 after the cooperative reported margins of about 462000 for the last fiscal year. Leonard Welker said rebates were calculated by power usage, with the largest rebates going to high electricity users. The board noted CREC’s non profit status limits rebates to 25 percent of margins, and next year could authorize up to 115000 in rebates.
