Fort Peck Reservation to Open for Settlement Next Spring

The Ft. Peck Indian Reservation in Montana covers 2,068,692 acres with 728,698 allotted to Indians and 1,345,000 vacant and soon opened to settlement. Agricultural experts estimate strong future yields if white settlers farm portions, with projected wheat, flax, barley and oats outputs and a major county fair marking the era.
