Three car loads of New Zealand beef mutton veal rabbits and butter arrived from Vancouver and placed on sale in Seattle. Beef priced at eleven cents per pound versus fourteen and a half for American fresh beef. Shipments to Seattle will run weekly with butter sent to other Northwestern cities. No price drop for fresh meat despite competition.
Malta's second nine met Saco's second team last Sunday in a close start. Saco made flashy plays but failed to connect with the ball, and the visitors pulled away late. Final score 17 to 9 for Saco.
