White Water Storm Kills Horse and Reports Heavy Loss

Lightning killed a valuable horse belonging to Eckhardt Pabst during last night’s storm. Hail damaged several fields with estimates of up to 50 percent loss in one or two cases and about 35 percent on average. White Water youth enjoyed a Dunbar ranch dance last Saturday night. Mrs. Irene Ericksn-Hawes teaches at the Soenichsen school as school opened yesterday. The White Water Drylanders defeated the Beaver Creek Warriors 5 to 2 on the Saco diamond with Swanson holding Sestak scoreless six innings and Kurtz hitting a long homer in the eighth for the visitors.
