Labels must show seed kind and variety, purity and germination, germination date, origin, seller name and address. A Montana Experiment Station grain lab at Bozeman will test samples free and return reports in 3 to 8 days for grains, longer for small seeds.

Frank Stevens Dies After Long Illness In New Orleans
Frank Stevens died on December 20 in a New Orleans hospital after months of rheumatism affecting his heart. A Georgia native, Stevens lived in Saco since 1892, worked as a hotel keeper, and was known as a fearless frontier captain of the Golden Coyote days. He leaves a Minneapolis wife, a Georgia brother and sister, and a niece in town. He will be buried in Minneola Minnesota.
