Former Sacs Girl Drowns in Washington Lake Whatcom
Orrilla Taylor eleven daughter of Dr and Mrs E L Taylor of 606 Elk Street Belingham drowned in Lake Whatcom near Silver Beach Sunday night April 17 while trying to don a coat in a small boat. Her mother and sisters Audery 11 Clarabeth 9 Evelyn 9 were saved. A search party with grappling hooks scoured the lake but no trace of Orrilla was found by early Monday. The Taylors had moved to Bellingham about a year ago and Dr Taylor a chiropractor.
