Directors of the Delta Sigma Pi Housing Corp meet in Ruston to plan funds for the fraternity home at Louisiana Tech. Arch ie Stewart, student president of the Tech chapter, presided as officers Tarolt Byrd Louis Cook Dwayne Oglesby Ronald Farrow and Homer Looney were named to the 1962 63 board with Prof William Isnighht as family advisor to coordinate between the chapter and housing corporation.

WALLINGTON UPS Chennault Air Base in Lake Charles Louisiana is scheduled to be closed by June next year. The 684th Medium Bomb Wing personnel and 45 Bell jet aircraft plus 2,136 airmen will transfer to other bases between January and April. The plan delays the original June deactivation and the base disposal will follow closure.
