Choudrant Riding Club Plans Sunday Barbecue Fundraiser

Lincoln Parish Police Jury announces a special election on Tuesday December 11 to renew the old five mill road tax and approve a new five mill tax to fund hard surfacing of parish roads. A November 30 Christmas Parade in Ruston will showcase giant Jean Gros Balloon creations. The Retail Merchants Association and Ruston Junior Chamber of Commerce sponsor, with Boy Scouts pulling balloons and Santa arriving by plane at noon. Old Sam will hand out candy 12:30 to 1:30, then parade proceeds downtown.
