Lincoln Parish has 101 miles of state and federal highway work in the past two years costing 13 286 294 dollars. Of this, 65 miles of new improvements cost 5 760 449 dollars already completed, with 36 miles under construction at 7 525 845 dollars. Major projects include nine miles tied to I-20 from Ruston to Choudrant and to Calhoun, plus resurfacing on SR 143 and SR 3072. Over the weekend ten minor accidents were reported to the Ruston Police Department. The incidents ranged from fender scratches to bumper fairing with no serious injuries.
