No Free Speech In U N Censure of South Africa
Review by Revie Leeder argues in 1961 that the United Nations censured South Africa’s foreign minister for diary remarks, while Western allies abstained. The piece claims Western officials failed to defend free speech and warns of African states dominating the UN, with Stevenson criticized as appeasing.

Debate Over Free Expression Amid Global Covenant Threats
Fragmented notes describe amendments to the U S Constitution and a United Nations alignment debate. One proposed amendment would let governments limit free expression if national security is at risk, while another argues for stronger global oversight and suppression of traditional freedoms in the name of world government. The text references South Alien and a Black African context, noting censorship as a counterrevolutionary force against communism.

Going Steady Losing Favor Among Teenagers
A United Press study of Junior Achievement delegates in 43 states and three Canadian provinces shows most teens favor ending steady dating. About 277 said they had not gone steady. 407 were against the practice, 292 for it. Average dating duration was 11.7 months. Delegates, mostly high school juniors, reported average earnings of 15 dollars from JA participation and said more than half aimed to contribute to society rather than seek wealth.
