Murder charge after six day old baby killed by mother
Baton Rouge Louisiana May 20. A bride eight months married and her husband are jailed on murder charges in the death of their six day old baby girl. Mrs May Rodosta 21 and Peter Rodosta 23 admitted killing the child saying she baptized her first. The infant born May 10 in Baton Rouge. They told authorities the child was killed last Friday after planning to discard her. The body found in the dirt floor of Rodosta's father Tony Rodosta's garage four miles from White Castle. The baby was named May Rene Rodosta. The couple married November 25 in White Castle. The mother said she baptized the child and killed her with blows to the head and strangulation. She wrapped the body and hid it in a clothes closet. The report includes additional political and legislative items unrelated to the murder case.
