Elenbeth Spanokt returned home Friday from 4-H Camp and says she had a wonderful time. Mr and Mrs Culver and Migabeth attended the Saturday night supper at Woodland Park for the Mid-West Ice Cream plant employees.
Vacationing families from Port Arthur Texas and Shreveport La paused in our town for church visits and family gatherings. Local residents Mr and Mrs Perry and children and others from Goldsmith Blanchard Monroe Hartsville and Shreveport joined kin, shared meals, and enjoyed reunions with Gallman family and relatives, while guests from Tennessee joined in the extended family events and casual neighborhood outings.
The Louisiana Tax Commission will review Lincoln Parish on Tuesday July 2 1959 at its office in Baton Rouge. Taxpayers with complaints may attend and present concerns related to tax assessments and levies.

Betty Blalock and family from Jonesboro and Ruth Smetley visit The Attented Presbyterian Church in Kendall this week. Others present include Mr. and Mrs. Oxford, Mr. and Mrs. Billyhet, Mrs. Bob Corley and child, Suzanne and David Mondy, Christine Beatty, and many relatives from Ruston, Tonston, Farmerville, and El Dorado.
