Bank of Choudrant will raze a new modern building at a cost of $935,000 with construction to start within 20 days. Howard Smith, president of the Ruston State Bank and Choudrant Bank officers announced the project, with control of the building awarded to the Choudrant Investment Co, a subsidiary of the Bank of Choudrant.

Rites Held Wednesday for Mrs White in Shreveport
Mrs Grace White of Shreveport died Tuesday at a Shreveport hospital after a lengthy illness.
