The Lincoln Parish School Board held a regular meeting at the Ruston Board Office to discuss personnel changes for the upcoming school year. Actions included teacher and staff recommendations, property transfers, and plans to consolidate Lincoln Elementary and the district’s junior high activities, with attention to the well system and emergency staffing.
The board delayed the next meeting to September 9 1857 after a motion with unanimous support. Dr Green thanked the board for allowing Dr Paul Mort to attend a workshop at Teachers College Columbia. The board also declared an emergency at Dubec High School and approved purchasing a deep freezer and refrigerator. A sale is set for August 1957 at Restons Day with detailed land description in Louisiana.
