Unexpected Baptist Church Farewell For Mr John Medley
Two members of the Baptist Church hosted a farewell dinner for Mr John Medley residing west of town on a Sunday in February. Medley and wife joined the church in 1914 and he served as deacon and Sunday School superintendent. His wife died in 1919, and he plans a trip to Washington but intends to return to Indiana. The community notes his long service and bids him God speed as he leaves for a period away.

Miss Myrtle Burns of Russiaville and Fred Shirley of Kokomo were married Saturday afternoon at 4 o clock in the United Brethren church parsonage. Rev D B Kesinger performed the ceremony. Shirley works at Hansell Coat Co. They will reside in Kokomo.

Cheerful Givers Class Host A February Meeting
The Cheerful Givers Class of the Mr E Sunday School taught by George P Holman met at Mrs Omer Long's home on February 10 with 22 members present. Mrs H M Brubaker won the prize after a busines session and Valentine exchange. Refreshments were served by Mrs Gordon Mrs Riggs and Mrs Long. The Young Men of the Christian Church entertained Camp Fire Girls at the church basement with a five course supper and a program of speeches and music.
