11000-volt shock narrowly sunders life of Russ Talbert
Russell Talbert relief ticket agent for the I R L battered by an 11 000 volt current Friday morning. He stepped on a transformer 11 000 volt line and grasped a live wire. Sparks and a circuit break near the station drew workers who shut off the current and rescued him. He regained consciousness after the fall and was taken to his brother Elmer’s home in Russiaville for care.
