Len Desjarlais, a Foxwarren native, led a ceremony at Work Point Barracks where 22 men and 6 women received the Millennium Medal, part of a total of over 3,000 veterans honored since last year. Desjarlais served with the Princess Patricia Light Infantry, battled discrimination, and after 1964 medical discharge pursued civilian work before retiring as a government guard. other local visitors and community updates accompany the report.
