Missing Children's Network warns of scam in Quebec
The Missing Children's Network Canada warns West Islanders that it does not conduct door to door canvassing and cautions the public about groups soliciting on behalf of missing children. In the West Island Laval and South Shore area residents report a group called Garden of Missing Children selling chocolate bars with missing child photos. The Missing Children's Network is not affiliated with that group and is the RCMP recognized organization in Quebec linked to Our Missing Children. Since 1985 it has helped return 216 children safely and runs programs teaching safety in threatening situations.
