Russell Alliance Youth Fellowship builds Mexican orphanage trip
A youth group from Russell Alliance traveled to Mexico in March with 17 teens and sponsors. They helped construct an 18 by 24 foot two story orphanage at Casa Bethel, in Metamoris, near the Rio Grande, and learned about local life while sharing meals, songs, and crafts with the children. The trip emphasized community funding and personal growth, ending with a return to Canada via South Padre Island.
