Murphy Foundation backs Inglis Elevators restoration project
The Murphy Foundation contributed 100000 dollars toward restoring the Inglis Elevator Heritage Site in Manitoba. The project preserves a row of five wood frame grain elevators dating to the 1920s and 1941, active until 1995, and now designated as provincial and federal historic sites. Funding will support restoring two Reliance Grain elevators with a Ruston Hornsby engine and an authentic agents office with vintage grain trade instruments.
