Interested individuals can join a literacy tutor training program in the Robiin Russell/Binscarth area in March. Contact LEARN at 987-4648 by March 14. Training lasts 15 to 18 hours with dates set by participant response. Level 1 Intro to Literacy Teaching certificate may be earned through Adult Literacy and Continuing Education.
A household shower for Amanda Dupuis Nernberg, daughter of Marilyn and Edgar Nemberg, will be held Sunday March 12 at 2:00 pm in the basement of the Robiin Free Methodist Church. Donations may be left at Kozmeniuk Home Hardware.
The family invites friends to Ella Tetzlatt's birthday tea on Monday March 13 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at her Inglis home. No gifts requested, just your company.
On Saturday March 25 2000 Sgt Bruce Perry and his wife Joanne of the Prairie Mountain RCMP Russell Community Office celebrate his retirement in the Yellowhead Room Russell Inn. Come and go wine and cheese from 7 PM. Cash bar. Gifts declined. Share or roast Bruce’s career. Tickets $10 per person from RCMP detachment by March 20.
The family of Jack Tanner and John Pugh express gratitude to Dr. Choi and Yorkton Hospital staff, Dr. Moolman and Russell Hospital staff, Alvin Kingdon, Father Dominique, Kate Venne, Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service, and all friends, neighbors, and attendees for support, prayers, food, flowers, cards, and hugs during illness and after the funeral.
