Russell woman preserves fashion history with vintage collection
Beth Naylor, a Russell resident, houses the region’s largest vintage clothing collection in her attic. Her restored pieces include an 1872 wedding dress once owned by Mrs. John MacMillan, a World War I nurse uniform, a red 1895 dress, and a 1917 white gown. She repurposes items for theater and centennial events and hopes some day to donate them to a museum.

Single Family Homes Rise as Real Estate Investment
Real estate expert Guy C. McMurray argues that today investors favor single family homes over apartment houses for beginners. They are more available, liquid, and profitable through appreciation and rental income. Tax benefits via depreciation also help reduce overall taxes. Contact McMurray Realty at 206 Main Street, Russell, Phone 773-2640 for assistance.
