Council plans continued snow clearance and summer work
The Village of Binscarth council met amid heat and air conditioning and heard residents complain about last winter’s snow piled near property and driveway clearances. They discussed not removing snow on blocks if signatures show discontent, planned weed control on boulevards, and upcoming pruning by Racine Tree Service. RCMP will enforce No Parking near the school yard, and a Canada Day parade float idea was offered along with invitations to Roblin’s Agricultural Fair. Garbage pickup will shift to July 2, and permits were approved for a Water Treatment Plant and extra bins at a grain facility. Building permit bylaw reviews noted a 12 500 dwelling value rule.
