Mission Montgomery tribute recalls Jon's Olympic journey
Russell residents praise the support for Jon Montgomery after his Olympic run. The Prairie Mountain RCMP detachment hosted Lots A Tots Daycare and organized Mission Montgomery to honor his finish. Eldon Montgomery credits volunteers, firefighters, and town leaders for a community driven celebration that valued personal bests over gold medals.
