Fifteen years ago at Yorkton the header ball team split a doubleheader, winning 1-0 in the afternoon and losing 6-5 in the evening. Russell battery featured McIntyre Leifer and Morton. A ratepayers meeting authorized a $3 loan to build a teacher's residence. Over sixty delegates attended the WMS Presbyterial meeting. Nurse McDonald, daughter of Mr and Mrs J A McDonald, won top prize for highest marks and deportment at Edmonton graduation exercises.

Last Sunday evening Nick Wanker was assaulted near Alex Andrews home by three men. He was struck and rendered unconscious and is now in a critical condition. One assailant is in custody.
