Community News Highlights From Dropmore District
Last weekend visitors with Bill and Buryle Doole included Bob and Eleanor Doole of Virden. Many families from across Manitoba and beyond visited relatives, attended Kenny Kolstad’s Regina wedding, and joined a two week holiday with grandparents. A large gathering celebrated John and Violet Robertson’s family dinner on July 10 1982, with a social evening, gifts, and a dance at Dropmore Hall attended by about 150. Roads brought rain after a dry spell, and a safety notice reminded Manitoba motorists smoking within 10 feet of gas pumps is forbidden under the Fire Code.
