Shellmouth Prepares Centennial Celebration Highlights
Shellmouth residents plan a centennial event on July 30 with a history book in progress. The RM of Russell council met July 13 1962 at 9 00 am discussing selling a municipal road to Glen Berg for 2000 and a gravel agreement with Barry Paulding at 36 cents a yard first year. An update notes Bob Witty leaving the Personal Care Home Board with Howard Setter taking a the next term and a ferry station yard complex once existed along the river. The next council meeting is August 10 1982.
