Binscarth fundraiser nets Fred Penner shows for school play area
A community group in Binscarth launched a fundraising drive to replace the 20 year old school playground. An initial poster drew $2,300 in donations and booked folk singer Fred Penner and his sidekick Paul for two sold out shows in Binscarth before traveling to Winnipeg and Toronto. The committee plans a meeting with Blue Imp, the company that designed and built the playground structure.
