CKDM in Dauphin raises power from 250 watts on 1230 to 1000 watts on 1050 kilocycles. The old transmitter shuts at noon December 11 and the new 185 foot tower near the CNR roundhouse begins operation at 2 pm the same day after Department of Transport approval. The Dauphin Broadcasting Company launched CKDM five years ago to serve the community.
