Manitoba to Toughen Drinking and Driving Legislation

Justice Minister Rosemary Vodrey announced new Manitoba laws to curb drinking and driving. The plan includes 2 hour licence suspensions for BAC between .05 and .08, harsher penalties for over .05, and mandatory Addictions Foundation assessment after two suspensions in three years.
