Missionaries Retire After 700 Years Overseas Service
At a June 1968 closing service in Greencastle, nineteen missionaries retired from an annual conference. They represented more than 700 years of overseas service. Presenting new missionaries, sixty five men and women stood to begin their next assignments as the congregation mourned the loss of experience and leadership.

CKX Boosts FM Power For Better Reception
CKXFM will double its effective radiated power on December 1 and begin stereo seven days a week with CKX AM simulcast only until noon. CKXFM will air separately from noon to midnight, improving reception across Western Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan, with CKXM’s present schedule remaining unchanged. It follows a Board of Broadcast Governors power increase approval.
