Foxwarren District Golf Tourney Auction Raises Funds for Arena
The Foxwarren District Recreation Centre hosted the 15th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction on Friday August 15. Jamie Lovas captured the $1000 closest to the pin prize while a large silent and live auction offered hockey items including Mark Wotton memorabilia and a Sidney Crosby autographed Penguins jersey. The event funded arena improvements amid farm item bids and home baked buns. A Come and Go Tea for Marion Butler’s 80th birthday drew many relatives at Foxwarren Leisure Centre.
