Shellmouth Artists Retreat hits high with 33 in residence
The Shellmouth retreat at Jan and Don Layh’s farm in Assiniboine Valley marked its most successful year with 33 artists in residence. Founder Jan Lagh notes the event’s communal, affordable format fosters shared media, techniques, and collaboration as the public is invited in for an end of week art showcase plus an evening of entertainment.
