The Coming filmed in Russell as town becomes character
Independent filmmaker Chad Costen shot The Coming in Russell with a 20 plus cast and crew. Costen, a Vancouver film school instructor, built the story around the town and used Russell as the setting for his feature. The opening scene was filmed in town five years earlier as a student project.
