Poor Man’s Rock Folk Tale of Love and Salmon Fortunes
In a coastal town Dolly confesses a painful past with Norman Gower, who plans marriage despite past infidelity while Jack MacRae battles for fair fish prices. MacRae, now a key buyer, contrasts hard realities of fishing life with family grudges as he contemplates life and work along the Cove and cannery lines.
