Manitoba faces redistribution of federal electoral districts
Canada updates its electoral map every decade with ten commissions reviewing provincial boundaries. Manitoba remains at 14 seats, aiming for equal population in 14 ridings while balancing communities of identity and geographic factors. Public input is invited through hearings and comments before the final report to Parliament and the Chief Electoral Officer.
