Manitoba Deficit Watch: April 17 Budget Sparks Skepticism
Manitoba residents urged to scrutinize the NDP budget to be tabled on April 17 as it is forecast to show a deficit near 1.12 billion. The critique highlights past overspending in nine departments adding over 2 billion to the debt, rising federal transfers, and a promised balanced budget by 2014. The caller emphasizes fiscal responsibility, warns against backdoor fees or tax hikes, and calls for accountability from Finance Minister Stan Struthers.

Generics cost less due to competition after patent expiry, reduced marketing and development costs, while inactive ingredients may vary.
