Emergency disaster drill at Russell and District Personal Care Home
A staged mock disaster tested ARHA RCMP and fire department response. Firefighters entered the basement to rescue two trapped workers while staff and ambulances evacuated residents. The exercise aimed to gauge interagency cohesion and was deemed a success by Fire Chief Marc Desaulniers.
