Main Street revitalization plan outlined for Russell
Lombard North landscape designer Christine Wilson MacLeod presented an overview and drawings for the Main Street Russell project funded by a 645000 grant from the Community Adjustment Fund, matched by the town. The plan adds angled parking, bump-outs, outdoor seating, arch bases and sails, pedestrian lighting, a plaza and performance space to boost safety, strollability, and local heritage, with no extra tax impact.
