Assiniboine RHA Board Notes Staffing Woes and Budget Gap
The Assiniboine Regional Health Authority board met on March 21 2012 in Brandon to acknowledge outgoing members. They reported a year to date funding shortfall of 902702 with a projected year end shortfall of 823155 and approved a 21139572 borrowing for specialized equipment. The panel discussed policy EL-14 risk management extended temporary physician privileges for Dr Forward and MEASSO Health Advisory nominations for 2012 13. Manitoba Quits contest encourages smoking cessation
The Manitoba Lung Association and Manitoba Healthy Living, Seniors and Consumer Affairs launched the second annual Mani toba Quits contest. Daily tobacco users 18 plus can pledge to stay smoke free May 1 31 and enter with a quitting buddy for a chance at five $1000 prizes plus $200 for buddies and six consolation prizes. online registration runs through April 30 with winners announced in mid June.

Palm Sunday Service At Foxwarren Chapel April First
