A tea shower for Miss Kay Parker of Kilgore honoring the future bride of Curtis Norton of Dallas, formerly of Rusk, was hosted last Friday evening from 7 30 to 9 at the home of Mrs. William Ed Tosh.
The Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society held a covered dish supper at Buckner's Lake House on a May Monday. Mrs Buckner and The Last Side Teachers hosted almost the full roster, guests seated among red rose centerpieces, as Louie Walker provided piano music for a Founders Day program honoring the twelve founders of the sorority. Betty Richards delivered a tribute to the founders.
