One-Car Wreck Kills Man 46 Miles North of Roswell

Paul Meredith Minor, 1942 Prospect Ave., San Francisco, died in a 6 am one car crash on U.S. Highway 285 forty six miles north of Roswell near Mesa. His 1951 Cadillac, stolen from Albuquerque dealer James Hutchinson, left the road, rolled three times, and ejected him. Cause was a broken neck and crushed skull.

Pipeline Contract Awarded For Texas New Mexico Line

The Texas New Mexico Pipe Line Co awarded a contract to Station Construction Co of Houston to build two pumping stations on the 512 mile Jal to Four Corners pipeline. Sites include Aneth Utah and Bisi NM with three 78400 barrel storage tanks each. The line runs about 17 miles north and east of Roswell near Molina. Owners include Texas Co Sinclair Pipe Line Tidewater Oil and Cities Service Oil.
